United Kingdom, police: Manchester attacker did not have a bomb with him

Milan, 2 October (LaPresse) – Manchester police have confirmed that the device worn by the perpetrator of the attack was not a bomb. The “device”, which in photos looked like a belt made of bottles or cylinders, was not a bomb but a non-functioning object. This was reported by the British media. A police spokesperson also confirmed that Plato, the code name for a terrorist attack, has been revoked, but the serious incident status remains.
