Iran: 5.3 magnitude earthquake

Turin, Oct. 3 (LaPresse) – A 5.3 magnitude earthquake struck central Iran. According to the Mehr news agency, the quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers and was felt in parts of Tehran and Qom, north of Isfahan. Tremors were also reported in Damavand, Absard, Kilan, Varamin and Fasham, in Tehran province. The epicenter was located in Zavareh, in Isfahan province.
