Turin, Oct. 4 (LaPresse) – The Hostages Families Forum “firmly supports President Trump in his commitment to bring home all the hostages and end the war,” reads a statement.
“President Trump’s call to immediately end the war is essential to prevent serious and irreversible harm to the hostages.”
The Forum urges “Prime Minister Netanyahu to immediately start effective and swift negotiations to bring home all our hostages.”
The hostages’ families express support for U.S. President Donald Trump following his appeal to Israel to halt raids on Gaza “so that the hostages can be safely and quickly released,” according to the Times of Israel.
Ronen Neutra, father of the American-Israeli soldier hostage Omer Maxim Neutra, who was killed, called Trump’s statement “a courageous act of leadership,” adding that he hopes “it leads to the swift release of our son and the other 47 hostages and that the Israeli government and Hamas leadership do not find a way to obstruct it.”
Einav Zangauker, mother of hostage Matan Zangauker, shared Trump’s statement in a post on X, writing: “Did you read it, Netanyahu?”
The Hostages Families Forum also published a statement affirming that it “firmly supports President Trump in his commitment to bring home all the hostages and end the war.”
“President Trump’s demand to immediately stop the war is essential to prevent serious and irreversible harm to the hostages,” it reads.
“We call on Prime Minister Netanyahu to immediately start efficient and rapid negotiations to bring home all our hostages.”
