Ukraine, Zelensky: “Russian raid on railway station, dozens injured”

Rome, Oct 4 (LaPresse) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported on Telegram that a Russian drone attack struck Shostka railway station in the Sumy region. “All emergency services are already on site. At the moment dozens of people have been reported injured,” he wrote, explaining that initial information indicates both railway employees and passengers were present at the scene of the attack. “The Russians could not have been unaware that they were striking civilians. This is an act of terrorism that the world has no right to ignore. Every day Russia kills people. And only force can make it stop. We have heard decisive statements from Europe and America, and it is time to put them into practice. Words are no longer enough. Strong actions are needed,” he added.
