Flotilla: Italians in good condition, seven sign expulsion order

Rome, 9 October (LaPresse) – Officials from the Italian Embassy in Tel Aviv visited the nine Italian members of the second Flotilla mission, who are being held at Ketziot prison in Israel. They appeared to be in good physical condition. Seven of them chose to sign the declaration of consent to repatriation. This is what LaPresse has learned from informed sources. At the end of the visit, the same sources explain, the embassy again reiterated, in writing, its request for better treatment for our compatriots and the necessary medical attention. The Italian diplomatic authorities continue to work for the rapid return of all compatriots to Italy.
