Milan, 9 October (LaPresse) – “We have no intention of renewing the war, but part of the commitments is, for example, the disarmament of Hamas. First, we will have a ceasefire immediately after it is approved by the Cabinet, and then Hamas will have 72 hours to release the hostages. I believe this should lead to the end of this war.‘ This was stated by Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar in an interview with Fox News, responding to the interviewer who asked, in reference to the agreement between Israel and Hamas, if this was the end of the war in Gaza. ’This is the implementation of the first phase. It is clear that this is the intention. We will have a ceasefire as part of the commitments in the first phase and also the agreement on the hostages, and of course we hope that all parts of the plan will be implemented,” Sa’ar said.
