Milan, 10 October (LaPresse) – With the Israeli government’s approval of the agreement, the ceasefire in Gaza comes into effect. Channel 12 reports that the IDF will withdraw to the Yellow Line within the next 24 hours, after which Hamas must release all living hostages within 72 hours. Most government ministers voted in favour of the agreement, including Minister Ofir Sofer of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich’s far-right Religious Zionism party. All other ministers from the party opposed the agreement. So did all members of the ultra-nationalist Otzma Yehudit party. This was reported by The Times of Israel.
