Brussels, Oct. 11 (LaPresse) – Hamas is willing to step aside for a Palestinian body to govern Gaza after the war but would remain “on the ground” and will not accept disarmament. Senior Hamas official Basem Naim told Sky News, adding that former British Prime Minister Sir Tony Blair would not be welcome to play any role in Gaza. “When it comes to Tony Blair, unfortunately, we Palestinians, Arabs, Muslims, and perhaps others around the world have bad memories of him,” he said. According to Trump’s plan, Blair would be part of the international oversight body.
