Turin, Oct. 14 (LaPresse) – The United Nations condemned this morning’s Russian attack on a convoy of four vehicles from a humanitarian mission in the Kherson region, calling it “unacceptable.” For the UN humanitarian coordinator for Ukraine, Matthias Schmale, “these attacks are absolutely unacceptable. Humanitarian workers are protected by international humanitarian law and should never be attacked,” he said in a statement. “Deliberately targeting humanitarian workers and humanitarian aid,” he emphasized, “is a serious violation of international humanitarian law and could constitute a war crime.”
