Gaza, Hamas sources: ‘Fourth body is that of an IDF soldier’

Rome, 15 October (LaPresse) – Hamas sources told Al Jazeera that the fourth body handed over to Israel, which according to Tel Aviv does not belong to one of the hostages, is that of an ‘Israeli soldier captured during a resistance operation’. The news was reported by the Times of Israel. According to the sources, the soldier was captured and killed in May 2024 in the Jabaliya refugee camp. At the time, the Israeli army denied that a soldier had been captured by Hamas. The fundamentalist group then released a video showing a bloodied person being dragged along the ground in a tunnel and published images of military equipment and machine guns, which are not used by the Israeli army, reports the Times of Israel.
