Gaza: IDF begins marking Yellow Line with concrete blocks

Milan, 19 October (LaPresse) – The IDF has begun marking the so-called Yellow Line – to which the army has withdrawn under the terms of the current ceasefire – in the Gaza Strip with physical markers. This was reported by The Times of Israel, citing an image from Gaza posted on social media this morning showing concrete blocks painted yellow and yellow metal signs to be affixed to them. Defence Minister Israel Katz ordered the installation of physical markers so that the boundaries of military control in the Strip are clearly visible. Katz said the markers will serve as a warning to ‘Hamas terrorists and Gaza residents that any violation or attempt to cross the line will be punished with fire.’
