Netanyahu denies rumours of early elections

Milan, 20 October (LaPresse) – Speaking to journalists at the Knesset after the opening session, following a three-month break, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denied plans to call early elections, stating that they will be held as scheduled. This was reported by the Times of Israel. ‘The intention is to pass a bill regulating military service and then hold elections on the scheduled date,’ Netanyahu said. The next elections in Israel are scheduled for October 2026.
