Ukraine: WSJ reports US approval for Kiev to use certain long-range missiles

Rome, 22 October (LaPresse) – The Trump administration has reportedly lifted a key restriction on Ukraine’s use of certain long-range missiles supplied by Western allies, allowing Kiev to intensify attacks on targets inside Russia and increase pressure on the Kremlin. This was reported by the Wall Street Journal, citing US officials. On Tuesday, the WSJ reports, Kiev used a Storm Shadow cruise missile supplied by Britain to strike a Russian plant in Bryansk that produced explosives and rocket fuel. The attack was announced by the Ukrainian General Staff, which described it as a “successful strike” capable of penetrating Russian air defences.
