Milan, 28 October (LaPresse) – Khalil al-Daqran, a doctor at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, told Al Jazeera Arabic that more than 70,000 people in Gaza are infected with hepatitis C and need urgent treatment outside the Strip. ‘We are calling for the immediate opening of the crossings to limit the spread of epidemic diseases in Gaza,’ said al-Daqran.
