Gaza, EU: ‘We are monitoring the situation, all parties must respect the truce’

Brussels, 29 October (LaPresse) – “The European Union is closely monitoring yesterday’s events in Gaza. We reiterate our call on all parties to continue to respect the ceasefire. We also urge all parties to fully commit to implementing all phases of the plan to end the conflict in Gaza and to refrain from any action that could undermine the agreement and the viability of the ceasefire.” This was stated by EU External Action Service spokesperson Anouar El Anouni in the daily press briefing. ‘We reiterate that there is no military solution to this conflict and that it is time to end this cycle of violence, death and destruction,’ he added.
