Spain, Sanchez: ‘Junts? We will reach out to groups to build majorities’

Madrid (Spain), 29 October (LaPresse) – ‘The government is aware of the complexity of parliament and the plurality that emerged from the polls in the last elections, and we will reach out to all groups, except one (Vox, ed.), in order to build majorities in favour of the social majority in this country.’ This was stated by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez during the government control session in the Congress of Deputies, responding to a question from the secretary general of Podemos, Ione Belarra, who asked the leader what the government’s plans were after the Catalan independence party Junts announced its break with the PSOE, which will have to be ratified by its members.
