(LaPresse/AP) – British police said one of those seriously injured in yesterday’s stabbing on a London train was a staff member of train operator London North Eastern Railway, or LNER, which operates East Coast Mainline services in the United Kingdom. “After viewing the train’s CCTV, the train staff member’s actions were nothing short of heroic and undoubtedly saved the lives of many people,” said Deputy Chief Constable Stuart Cundy. The other five people injured during last night’s attack have been released from hospitals.
