Gaza, Trump: “Very soon for international force in the Strip

Milan, Nov 7 (LaPresse) – When asked about the establishment of the international stabilization force in Gaza, U.S. President Donald Trump replied: “Very soon.” “You haven’t heard much about problems, and I will tell you that there have been countries volunteering if there was an issue with Hamas,” he added, speaking to journalists during a White House reception with Central Asian leaders. The multinational force, likely including troops from Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates, is part of Trump’s post-conflict governance plan for Gaza. The force is expected to train and support the qualified Palestinian police in the Gaza Strip, with the backing of Egypt and Jordan. “Peace in Gaza is strong, and if Hamas does not do its part, it will face the consequences,” Trump warned, according to Al Jazeera.
