Washington (USA), 7 November (LaPresse) – The United States ‘is considering’ the possibility of exempting Hungary from sanctions on Russian oil and gas. Donald Trump said this, noting that Hungary is in a ‘different position’ compared to other European countries because it has no access to the sea. The meeting in Budapest with Vladimir Putin is not yet ready because Russia ‘still does not want to stop,’ added US President Donald Trump during a bilateral lunch at the White House with Viktor Orban. The Hungarian prime minister said he had ‘no doubt’ that if the current US president had been in office, the war in Ukraine would not have broken out.
