Milan, Nov. 12 (LaPresse) – Ukrainian Energy Minister Svitlana Grynchuk has resigned following a request from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Her announcement came in a Facebook post, stating that she “did not break the law in the course of her professional activities” and expressed gratitude to President Volodymyr Zelensky, the ministers of Ukraine, and the deputies for the opportunity to work for the benefit of the State. Zelensky had asked for the resignations of the Ministers of Justice and Energy following the corruption scandal involving state nuclear company Energoatom. This morning, Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko announced the suspension of the Justice Minister for the duration of the investigation.
