USA, Trump: ‘I know nothing about Epstein’s emails’

(LaPresse) – ‘I know nothing about it.’ This was President Donald Trump’s response to journalists on Air Force One who asked him about emails in which Jeffrey Epstein claimed that the tycoon “knew about the girls”. ‘They would have made it public a long time ago,’ Trump said, according to US media reports. ‘The real question is what he meant after spending all that time with Bill Clinton, Harvard President Larry Summers and all the other people he spent time with. Jeffrey Epstein and I had a very bad relationship for many years,’ Trump continued. ‘But he also saw strength in the fact that I was president,’ the tycoon added.
