Rome, 16 November (LaPresse) – Ukraine and France have signed an agreement for ‘a significant strengthening of our combat aviation, our airspace protection and our other defence capabilities’. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a video posted on social media. “This is what really helps Ukraine defend itself and achieve our goals, our tasks,” added Zelensky, who reiterated: ‘The main priorities for us today are air defence, systems and air defence missiles. And after every Russian attack, we ensure that our forces are restored. It’s not easy, but we’re doing it. In addition, our resilience, our preparation for winter.‘ Zelensky further states in the video: ’We are working to ensure a new start to negotiations so that, after all, there is a prospect of ending this war. We are also counting on the resumption of prisoner exchanges: many meetings, negotiations and calls are currently underway to ensure this.”
