Poland, Tusk: ‘Two Ukrainians working for Russia responsible for sabotage’

Warsaw (Poland), 18 November (LaPresse) – Two Ukrainian citizens working for Russia are suspected of being responsible for the explosion that occurred on a railway line in Poland. This was reported by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who described the incident as “an unprecedented act of sabotage”, emphasising that the line affected is crucial for providing aid to Ukraine. Over the weekend, a section of the railway line connecting Warsaw to the Ukrainian border was blown up. In another incident, power lines on another section were damaged. Today, Tusk told the Sejm, the lower house of the Polish Parliament, that the suspects had collaborated with the Russian secret services. He added that their identities are known but cannot be revealed to the public due to the ongoing investigation. The two have already left Poland.
