Ukraine: media reports Trump sends high-level Pentagon delegation to Kiev

Rome, 19 Nov. (LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump has sent a high-level Pentagon delegation to Kiev in an attempt to resume peace talks to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. The Wall Street Journal reports that the delegation is led by Secretary of the Army An Driscoll, along with two four-star generals. A meeting is planned with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and senior military and industry representatives. According to the American newspaper, Driscoll is also expected to hold talks with Russian officials at a later date.
