Ukraine, Moscow: ‘Kiev attempted to strike Voronezh with ATACMS missiles’

Rome, 19 Nov. (LaPresse) – The Russian Ministry of Defence has confirmed that on Tuesday, Ukrainian armed forces attempted to attack targets in the Russian city of Voronezh with US-made ATACMS missiles. ‘All four missiles were intercepted by S-400 and Pantsir missile systems,’ the ministry said, as quoted by Interfax, explaining that there were ‘no casualties or injuries’ among civilians. ‘Debris from the destroyed missiles damaged the roofs of the Voronezh Regional Gerontology Centre and an orphanage, as well as a private home,’ the Russian Defence Ministry reported.
