Ukraine: Rubio optimistic that we can achieve something

Milan, 23 November (LaPresse) – ‘I am very optimistic that we can achieve something here, because we have made extraordinary progress.’ This was stated by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the end of today’s meetings. Rubio declined to go into details about the talks, but stressed that ‘the Russians also have a say’ and will be consulted as the next step towards peace. ‘Obviously, now we have to take what we have worked out, if we can reach that agreement with the Ukrainian side, to the Russian side,’ he said.
