Ukraine, Lavrov: ‘What was decided in Anchorage must remain in agreement’

Milan, 25 Nov. (LaPresse) – Russia expects the American side to present a version of US President Donald Trump’s Ukrainian peace plan agreed with Europe and Ukraine, which includes what was decided at the summit in Anchorage, Alaska, between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference. ‘We have channels of communication with our American colleagues; we are using them and we are waiting for their version, which they consider provisional, to complete the coordination phase of this text with the Europeans and Ukrainians,’ Lavrov said, as reported by the Tass agency, ‘then we will see, because if the spirit and letter of Anchorage are deleted from the key agreements we have recorded, then, obviously, the situation will be fundamentally different.’
