Washington (USA), Nov. 29 (LaPresse) – The Trump administration announced on Friday the suspension of all decisions on asylum requests following the shooting that caused the death of a woman and the injury of a male member of the National Guard in Washington. The Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Joseph Edlow, stated in a post on X that the suspension will last “until we can ensure that every foreign national is thoroughly checked and screened to the highest possible level.”
