Middle East, Herzog in New York next week: meeting with Trump not planned

Jerusalem, Dec. 1 (LaPresse) – Israeli President Isaac Herzog will visit New York next week to attend two conferences, one at Yeshiva University and the other at the American Zionist Movement. Ynet News reports that sources close to the president stated they are not aware of a possible meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, although Herzog’s arrival “raises the possibility that the American president could personally initiate such a meeting.”
