Meloni in Bahrain, summit with the King: focus on Middle East and Ukraine

Rome, Dec. 3 (LaPresse) – As part of her participation in the Gulf Cooperation Council Summit, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met with the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, assisted by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Palazzo Chigi announced the meeting. The talks, it was explained, confirmed the shared willingness to continue along the path of consolidating bilateral relations, launched with the conclusion last September of the Memorandum establishing the Strategic Partnership on Investments and strengthened by the four meetings held by the Prime Minister with the leadership of the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2025 alone. During the meeting, the two leaders also addressed the main international issues, with particular reference to joint efforts for the stabilization of the Middle East and for a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.
