Abu Mazen at Atreju: “Italy should continue on the path towards recognizing Palestine”

Rome, 12 December (LaPresse) – ‘Today, 160 countries recognise the Palestinian state. We confidently hope that Italy will continue along this path.’ This was stated by the President of the Palestinian National Authority, Abu Mazen, speaking from the stage at Atreju in Rome. Abu Mazen also thanked ‘the Italian people,’ who ‘have always expressed great solidarity on a human level for the suffering of our people.’
