Ukraine, media: Zelensky to meet Merz on Monday in Berlin

Milan, Dec. 12 (LaPresse) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be in Berlin, Germany, on Monday to meet with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. This was reported by Bild, citing sources in security circles. Talks are also expected in the so-called E3 format with the European states of Germany, the United Kingdom, and France, as well as with Zelensky. The German government has not yet confirmed. However, the unusually high security measures already in place in the government district and in the airspace above Berlin indicate that Zelensky is expected at the Chancellery on Monday.
