Rome, 13 December (LaPresse) King Charles III announced in a video message broadcast on Channel 4 that his cancer treatment will be reduced in the new year thanks to early diagnosis, effective surgery and adherence to medical prescriptions. The monarch’s message came as part of the “Stand Up To Cancer” campaign, which aims to encourage people to undergo screening to detect cancer in its early stages, when it is easier to treat. “Today, I am able to share with you the good news that, thanks to early diagnosis, effective intervention and adherence to doctors” orders, my cancer treatment programme will be reduced in the new year,’ the King said in his speech.
