Australia: Mamdani, as mayor I will work to ensure the safety of Jews in New York

I mourn the deaths of the victims and will keep their families, the Jewish community and the Chabad movement in my prayers. May the memory of all those who were killed be a blessing.’ This is what New York’s mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani wrote in a post on social media. “Today at Bondi Beach, as men armed with rifles targeted innocent people, another man ran towards the gunfire and disarmed one of the shooters.
