Milan, Dec. 14 (LaPresse) – “In Australia, as you know, there was a terrible attack: 11 dead and 29 seriously injured. And it was an antisemitic attack, obviously,” said U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the shooting at the Hanukkah celebration on Bondi Beach in Sydney, at the beginning of his speech during the White House Christmas reception. Trump added that he has “great respect” for the man who confronted one of the attackers with his bare hands, calling him “a very, very brave person.” “We are here to celebrate Christmas and… I think today we can say for the first time, loudly, that we celebrate Hanukkah because that was a horrible attack, a purely antisemitic attack,” he concluded, speaking to the crowd gathered at the White House decorated for the holidays, according to CNN.
