Ukraine, US: “In Berlin, 90% of issues between Moscow and Kyiv resolved”

Washington (USA), Dec. 15 (LaPresse) – Between Russia and Ukraine, “90%” of the issues have been resolved. This was reported by two senior US officials during a call that also included LaPresse, providing an update on the talks held in Berlin. Ukraine will be offered “robust” security guarantees, in line with “Article 5” of the NATO Treaty, the officials added, expressing confidence that “the Russians will accept security guarantees for Kyiv in the final agreement.” The US officials also noted that “the Europeans have expressed great appreciation for President Trump’s willingness to address the issue and provide such guarantees.” However, they added, “these guarantees will not remain valid forever. They are available at this time, provided an agreement is reached.”
