Ukraine, Kyiv: ‘Moscow has lost over 1.2 million soldiers since the start of the war’

Brussels, 24 Dec. (LaPresse) – Russia has lost approximately 1,200,370 soldiers in Ukraine since the start of its large-scale invasion. This is according to a report released today by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as reported by the Kyiv Independent. The number includes 1,090 casualties suffered by Russian forces in the last day. According to the report, Russia has also lost 11,449 tanks, 23,796 armoured combat vehicles, 71,125 vehicles and fuel tanks, 35,376 artillery systems, 1,579 multiple rocket launchers, 1,263 air defence systems, 434 aircraft, 347 helicopters, 94,197 drones, 4,107 cruise missiles, 28 ships and boats, and two submarines.
