Milan, 26 December (LaPresse) – Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has ordered the IDF to act ‘with force and immediacy’ against the village of Qabatiya, in the northern West Bank, from which the attacker who killed two people in an attack in northern Israel came, running over a man and stabbing a woman. This was reported by The Times of Israel. A statement from Katz’s office said that security forces would work to ‘identify and neutralise every terrorist and strike at the terrorist infrastructure in the village,’ warning that anyone who assists or provides support to terrorism ‘will pay the price.’ A police spokesman said the attacker was shot and wounded by a passer-by. The Israeli press reports that the attacker is a 37-year-old man from Qabatiya. According to the IDF, he had entered the country illegally a few days ago.
