Ukraine: Russian attack in the Kiev region overnight, 5 injured

Turin, 27 Dec. (LaPresse) – Five people were injured in attacks launched overnight by the Russians in many districts of Kiev. This was reported by the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, quoted by Ukrinform. According to Kyiv Independent, Moscow’s forces launched Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, Iskander ballistic missiles and Kalibr cruise missiles. Several explosions were heard throughout the capital and also in the Kiev region, where power outages were reported in the city of Brovary and surrounding areas following the raids. A fire was reported in the Holosiivskyi district of the city, while debris fell in the Obolonskyi and Desnianskyi districts. In the Boryspil district, several warehouses and two cars were damaged.
