Ukraine, Zelensky: “Peace agreement 90% ready”

Kyiv, Jan. 1 (LaPresse) – “The peace agreement is 90% ready.” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in a New Year video message published on social media. “I can say that Ukraine has sincerely done everything for peace and continues to do so. The remaining 10% is missing, and these are not just numbers. This 10% contains everything,” Zelensky stressed. “We believe in peace, we fight for it and we work to make it possible,” the leader of Kyiv continued. “Another year comes to an end, achieved thanks to dedication and resilience, to principles and to the daily work of Ukrainians. This year was made possible thanks to our defenders: to those who defended it not only for Ukraine, but for all those who value freedom and dignity. Let us move forward together, carrying with us what sustains us: experience and memory, the word of our land, hope and faith. Let us carry with us the ability to act together and humanity, that which, despite everything, unites us. We believe in peace, we fight for it and we work to make it possible.”
