Venezuela: Medvedev says US could repeat operation against Ukraine

Milan, 4 January (LaPresse) – Washington could repeat the operation against Kiev already attempted in Caracas, and in the case of Ukraine, the reasons for doing so would be much stronger. This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, in response to the Tass news agency. ‘The Yankees, having already created a similar “precedent” with Maduro, could repeat it with’ the Ukrainians. ‘There are certainly many more reasons to do so,’ Medvedev stressed, responding to a question about the possibility of the United States taking similar action against Volodymyr Zelensky if he were to reject an agreement with US leader Donald Trump.
