Washington (USA), Jan. 5 (LaPresse) – “I am not guilty, I am innocent. I am a decent man.” Nicolas Maduro said this to Judge Alvin Hellerstein in the Manhattan federal courtroom. The deposed Venezuelan president pleaded not guilty to all four counts related to drug trafficking and terrorism charges. Maduro claimed that he is still the legitimate leader of Venezuela.
