Washington (USA), 8 January (LaPresse) – Tension rises in Minneapolis after the killing yesterday of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Macklin Good by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent. At dawn, dozens of people, wrapped in heavy coats, gathered in a car park near the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building in Fort Snelling. The building houses several federal agencies, including an immigration court. The crowd chanted slogans and waved American flags and signs demanding that ICE leave Minnesota. Federal agents used pepper spray and tear gas to clear the area, according to CNN reporters at the scene.
