Dubai (United Arab Emirates), 9 January (LaPresse) – The death toll in Iran since the start of the protests has risen to at least 62. The figure was provided by the US-based Human Rights Activists News Agency (Hrana), whose figures have proven accurate in previous rounds of violence during protests in the country. According to Hrana, at least 2,300 arrests were made during the demonstrations.
