Greenland, Putin: ‘This is not Russia’s concern’

Turin, 21 January (LaPresse) – The United States’ intentions towards Greenland are not a matter for Russia. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. ‘What is happening in Greenland does not concern us at all,’ said the Kremlin leader during a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council, as reported by Ria Novosti. ‘I think the United States and Denmark will resolve the issue between themselves,’ he added. ‘Denmark has always treated Greenland as a colony and treated it rather harshly, if not cruelly. But that’s another matter,’ the Russian president explained.
