Greenland, Denmark: “We can negotiate but with respect for territorial integrity”

Copenhagen, Jan 22 (LaPresse) – “We can negotiate on anything that is political: security, investments, economy. But we cannot negotiate our sovereignty. I have been told that this was not the case. And of course, only Denmark and Greenland can make decisions on matters that concern them,” said Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen in a written statement. “The Kingdom of Denmark wishes to continue engaging in constructive dialogue with allies on how to strengthen security in the Arctic, including the U.S. Golden Dome, provided that it is done with respect for our territorial integrity,” she added.
