Rome, 27 January (LaPresse) – The Italian ambassador to Tehran, Paola Amadei, was summoned to the Foreign Ministry in the Iranian capital by local authorities following the announcement by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani that he intended to propose on Thursday at the meeting of European foreign ministers in Brussels the inclusion of the Revolutionary Guards (the Pasdaran, ed.) on the list of terrorist organisations. The news, reported by the Tehran Times, has been confirmed by Italian diplomatic sources.
