The memory of this event must never fade. Our historical responsibility remains: on this Remembrance Day, we remember these immeasurable crimes. Anti-Semitism, racism and xenophobia have no place in Germany. This applies today, tomorrow and forever.” So said German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in a message on his social media channels.
