New York (New York, USA), 31 January (LaPresse/AP) – Emails made public on Friday by the US Department of Justice include an exchange in August 2010 between Jeffrey Epstein and an account named “The Duke”, shortly after the financier was released from house arrest following his previous conviction. Before he was banned from using the title, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was the Duke of York. “I have a friend who I think you might like to invite to dinner,” Epstein wrote. “The Duke” replied: ‘Certainly. I will be in Geneva until the morning of the 22nd, but I would be delighted to meet her. Will she bring a message from you? Please give her my contact details.‘ The email is signed “A.”. In response to a redacted email, “The Duke” wrote: ’Great. Do you have any other information about her that might be useful? For example, what did you tell her about me and did you also give her my email?” Epstein, whose emails often contain typos, replied: ‘She is 26, Russian, intelligent, beautiful, reliable and yes, she has your email.’ ‘How quick!’ replied The Duke, ‘How are you? Is it nice to be free?’ ‘It’s great to be free from many things,’ said Epstein.
USA: After being placed under house arrest, Epstein arranged a meeting between Andrea and a Russian girl.
