Russia-US, Moscow: ‘If Washington deploys weapons in Greenland, we will respond’

Rome, 3 February (LaPresse) – The possible deployment of US missile defence systems in Greenland ‘will require Russia to take compensatory measures of a technical-military nature’. This was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov during a meeting with the media at the Russian Embassy in China. Ria Novosti reports. ‘If the United States begins to implement elements of its “Golden Dome” concept there, it will create a situation that will require technical-military compensatory measures, and our specialists will be fully prepared,’ he said.
